The Spark* Changemakers Program is a powerful opportunity for passionate South Africans who are at the early stages of building social businesses or non-profit organisations. If you are successful in your application you:
– ATTEND THE CHANGEMAKERS ACCELERATOR – An intensive five day live-in workshop where you join a small group of Spark* Changemakers and access world class social entrepreneurship training designed to help you focus your non-profit or business and accelerate the launching and growth of your idea.
– ACCESS THE CHANGMAKERS SUPPORT NETWORK – Beyond the accelerator you receive ongoing training and support from Spark* International and we connect you to experts and professionals who can help you as you launch and grow your non-profit or business. Specifically we provide you with two years of access to graphic designers, website creators, business coaches, mentors, lawyers and accountants (all super helpful for entrepreneurs as we grow our ventures!).
– CAN APPLY TO CHANGEMAKER FUND – Spark* may provide you with a small grant of (USD$1000) to help you launch and grow your non-profit or business.
Desirable Qualities:
– Emerging South African leaders with a clear passion to HELP BRING PEOPLE IN THEIR COMMUNITIES OUT OF POVERTY.
– Emerging South African leaders who can TURN THEIR IDEAS INTO REALITY.
– Emerging South African leaders who have LAUNCHED A BUSINESS OR NON-PROFIT that exists to improve the lives of people living in poverty.
