2015 Green Talents Competition for Young Researchers in Sustainable Development, Germany

Are you an up-and-coming scientist with original ideas and a strong focus on sustainable development? Does your research have the potential to change the world?

The aim of our Green Talents competition is to promote the targeted networking of outstanding scientists from around the world.
The German Government recognizes global warming, energy shortages, resource scarcity, and massive environmental contamination as some of the biggest challenges of today. When dealing with these issues, the Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) believes in cultural plurality to encourage the development of global solutions.
This approach is supported by the annual Green Talents competition, focusing on young outstanding minds active in the field of environmental and sustainability research.
REQUIREMENTS
• Strong focus on sustainable development and an interdisciplinary approach
• Enrolment in or completion of a master’s degree programme or higher
• Significantly above-average grades
• Up to 32 years of age
• Proven excellent command of English
• Not a German citizen nor a resident of Germany
