You’re a talented musician looking forward to get famous on the African scene? The StarAfrica Sounds contest is for you!
StarAfrica.com launches the 3rd edition of the StarAfrica Sounds music contest, in partnership with Believe, Deezer, Soonvibes, Africa n°1 and Zimbalam.
From March 31st to May 26th, the candidates apply on StarAfrica.com and reveal an original song and their musical universe to the public.
From May 26th to June 23rd, the Internet users get to participate by voting for their favorite candidates and select one finalist per country represented.
Then all the finalists compete from June 23rd to July 7th when the Internet users vote to elect the Winner of the public.
In parallel, the jury composed of 4 recognized professionals, will designate the Jury’s prize among all the Participants. The Jury’s prize will be made public on StarAfrica.com on July 10th.
Many prestigious dotations are to be won, such as the integration to the StarAfrica Sounds 2015 compilation, an highlight on Deezer Africa and North Africa, an interview on Africa numéro 1, a remix by the DJs community of Soonvibes and the distribution on the main music digital platforms thanks to Zimbalam!
Prizes
The prizes will be the following ones:
Winner of the main prize:
- The integration to the StarAfrica Sounds 2014 compilation,
- An highlight on StarAfrica.com, Deezer Africa and Deezer North Africa,
- A radio interview on Africa 1,
- The distribution of three albums in digital version on Zimbalam,
- A Deezer for Artists certified account and a free six months access to the Deezer premium offer,
- A remix by the DJs community of Soonvibes.
Jury’s prize:
