How to apply for a scholarship

Early application is essential as MSc programmes make offers on a rolling basis and may close to new applicants much earlier than the deadlines stated below.

Please note there are three steps in the application process, all of which must be completed in order to be considered for a PfAL scholarship.

Phase 1: Pre-Application

Download the Pre-Application form here.

This is the pre-application phase and it will remain open until Friday February 19th 2016 initially.  Once the February 19th deadline has passed, any subsequent applications will be considered on a rolling basis only up until a pre-determined quota is reached

Phase 2: MSc Application

Applications are made online using the School’s graduate application form. Please ensure you first read through the guidance for applicants before you begin your application.

Phase 3: Financial Application

Once you have submitted your MSc application, it may take up to 10 working days for it to be processed and uploaded into the School’s systems.  You will then be sent detailed instructions regarding the LSE Graduate Financial Support Application.

While you are waiting you may familiarise yourself with the guidance for completing this form.   The online application form will be available until 17.00 GMT on Wednesday 27th April 2016 only.
