2024 Global Korea Scholarship Program for graduate study in South Korea.

In 2024, Korean government aims to invite 2,200 international students for 2024 Global Korea Scholarship program for graduate degrees. Applicants must apply either to a Korean Embassy where they hold citizenship (embassy track) or directly to one of the designated universities (university track). For inquiries regarding application submission (i.e., application deadline, submission method, additional required documents, authentication, translation certificate, etc.), please contact each embassy and university directly since they will be conducting the first round of selection.

Program Detail

1 year of Korean language program

  • Master’s Degree: 2 years of degree program
  • Doctoral Degree 3 years of degree program
  • Research Program: 6 months or 1 year

Selection Criteria

  • Interviews will be held through Zoom due course with a limited number of applicants who have met the application deadline and passed through the documentation review. 
  • It is ki ndly noted that those who fail to meet one of the qualifications set forth in the Applications Guideline will be automatically disqualified.
  • Check the guidelines carefully for further information such as the eligibility requirements, required documents and directions to submit the application.
