About Us

Opportunities for Africans (OFA) is an online information portal dedicated to connecting Africans to the latest life-changing opportunities around the world — including scholarships, fellowships, internships, volunteering programs, grants, contests, and more. Since its founding in 2012, OFA has helped thousands of young Africans access pathways for education, professional development, leadership, and global mobility.

Africa is the most youthful continent on earth, with a large proportion of its population under the age of 35. Yet many young Africans face critical gaps in access to information about opportunities that can unlock their potential. OFA bridges this gap by curating and sharing trusted opportunities from around the globe, empowering Africans to pursue education, careers, and impact that transform lives and communities.
