AWS CloudUp is a flexible program for women who want to go deeper on AWS Cloud and complete their Solution Architect Associate Certification. The program is self paced with digital training and fortnightly virtual Q&A sessions with AWS Mentors to support your learning. The program is free with Exam vouchers sponsored by AWS (valued at $150USD).
During your studies we will stay connected with our Slack channel for responsive Q&A, recordings of Q&A sessions and shared resources. We will also have quarterly hands on workshops that you can join and a range of other events throughout the year.
The Solution Architect Associate pathway is suited to women with a technical background (development or infrastructure). If not, we recommend you complete our Cloud Practitioner training first.
In the Solution Architect Associate program you will learn how to optimize the AWS Cloud by understanding AWS services and how they fit into cloud-based solutions.
You will explore best practices and design patterns to help you architect optimal IT solutions on AWS and learn how to create fledgling architectures and build them into robust and adaptive solutions.
What to expect
- All events are optional and on a rolling schedule so you can work through the program as quickly as you like – 3 weeks is generally the minimum needed but you can use the whole year if you need to.
