If the answer is “YES!”, then you are invited to apply to be a Global Youth Service Day (GYSD) 2014 Country Partner!

As a Global Youth Service Day (GYSD) 2014 Country Partner, your organization will have access to an international platform, www.GYSD.org, to raise awareness of your organization and the important work you do, engage more young people in service, and recognize youth for improving their communities. Join more than 900 organizations from around the world in leading the youth service movement as part of the Global Youth Service Network. Receive comprehensive resources and technical assistance to help you build capacity and make a significant impact on GYSD.

What is a Global Youth Service Day Country Partner?

Country Partners serve as official organizers of Global Youth Service Day in their countries. Global Youth Service Day, April 11-13, 2014, is the largest service event in the world, and the only one dedicated to recognizing the contributions that young people make to their communities every day of the year.

Criteria

  • Organizations that have the ability to mobilize at least 100 youth (ages 5 to 25) in youth-led community service projects and celebration events on Global Youth Service Day, April 11-13, 2014.
  • Additional responsibilities include promoting Global Youth Service Day, engaging local media, coordinating project and celebration event registrations on www.GYSD.org, and reporting the impact of your Global Youth Service Day activities.
