Global Changemakers are excited to announce the fully funded African Youth Summit 2023! In partnership with the ATKV, Global Changemakers will be hosting the second Africa Regional Summit in Cape Town, South Africa from 17-20 October 2023.
Global Changemakers is an international youth organisation with a mission to support youth to create positive change towards more fair, just and sustainable communities. We do this through skills development, capacity building, mentoring and grants.
Requirements
- African Changemakers aged 21-28 years old working to create positive impact in their communities will be invited to attend a life-changing week of skills development, networking and capacity building alongside 50 of Africa’s most impactful young leaders.
- After the summit they will join an international network of over 1200 Changemakers from around the world and become eligible to apply for grant funding to scale and amplify their impact.
Benefits
For changemakers selected from outside South Africa, Global Changemakers and ATKV will cover the flight from your country’s main airport, transport within South Africa, food and accommodation for the duration of the summit. For changemakers already in South Africa, your transport to the summit venue will be covered along with the other expenses.
Selection Process
Changemakers are selected through a competitive 3 part selection process and we will accept applications until midnight Central African Time on 10 June 2023.
