AVERT is delighted to announce the launch of its Small Grants Programme! AVERT provides grants and technical support to grassroots organisations working to combat the impact of HIV and AIDS at the community level.AVERT is calling for project proposals which increase comprehensive knowledge and understanding of HIV and AIDS among young people aged between 15 and 24 in Malawi, Swaziland or Lesotho with the aim of supporting healthy sexual and reproductive lives.
National not-for-profit / non-governmental / faith-based organisations working in these countries are invited to submit project proposals provided that they fulfil the eligibility criteria:
- Applicants must be a registered national not-for-profit, non-governmental or faith-based organisation
- Applicants must have a clear and transparent governance system in place with a Board of Trustees and audited accounts
- If asked, applicants must be willing to share their last annual report and audited accounts with AVERT
