Co-creation Hub’s AUIA Associate Programme (AAP) Student Ambassadors Program 2018

Application Deadline: June 25th 2018

AUIA Associate Programme (AAP), powered by Co-creation Hub, engages students of African tertiary institutions as AMBASSADORS to build the AUIA research repository by spotting and gathering innovative academic research projects from Universities.

Eligibility:

AAP need research-minded and high performing students from a variety of disciplines within Universities that meet these requirements:

 

University Status

Participants must be enrolled in a programme in a university

 

Proven Written Skills

Participants must have evidence of excellent written skills

 

Ability to work with minimal supervision

We need candidates who can work independently, without constant supervision.

Timeline:

Phase 1

June 1 – June 25: Ambassadors selected

Ambassadors will be selected from universities

Phase 2

July 16: Training programme

CcHUB will conduct a training programme with an experienced research analyst on how to categorize, spot and select innovative research projects worth reporting within the Universities.

Phase 3

July 23: Completion of Programme

Completion of CcHUB training programme.

Phase 4

July 23 – Oct 23: Field Work

Ambassadors will keep their ears to the ground and familiarize themselves with the research and innovation units, key lecturers as well as other departments within their university to enable them to give reports on innovative research projects.
Scheduled meetups with the CcHUB mentors and submission of Ambassador Report.

Phase 5

Recieve Rewards

Students will receive a monetary reward for each innovative research project they submit!
