GirlCode online coding bootcamps are an intensive 3 month training that prepares people with little or no prior experience to work as web developers.
Participants work in a simulated work environment where they building real products out of real challenges incorporating feedback from the Facilitators. This training model mimics the process of learning on the job; the “facilitators” are senior colleagues
The Bootcamps are also about preparing women for work readiness. Tasks are designed to teach you the practical skills needed to develop your programming ability. You will receive personalised mentorship and career coaching as you work your way through industry-aligned course content, with code reviews after every module, professional feedback.
The recruitment will be based on candidates that meet the following requirements:
• Gender: Female
• Age: 18 – 35 years of age
• Qualifications: I.T Degree/Diploma
• Commitment: 12 weeks
• Working English proficiency is mandatory
• Must have a laptop and stable internet
