Mashariki provides paid hospitality internships and work placements in Zanzibar Islands, Serengeti – Tanzania and Nairobi – Kenya. All internships are sponsored by leading hotels and lodges in East Africa. Successful applicants receive a return airline ticket, monthly salary, and full boarding and lodging.

Program Benefits
6 Months Program
All interns receive a salary (stipend) of US$ 500 – US$ 800 per month plus other benefits. An internship offer is granted with terms and conditions.
Airplane Tickets
Selected candidates are provided a return ticket from origin to their internship destination, including airport pick-up and transfers.
Boarding and Lodging
All duty meals and accommodation are provided for within the hotels, restaurant, lodges and resorts.
All-inclusive Internships
All interns receive a monthly salary ranging from US $500 – $800 per month; most overseas programs require you to cover traveling, accommodation and other costs.
A Global Workplace
Our interns work in international settings; interacting with guests from around the world including China, Korea, Japan, Germany, Asia and other countries.
Learn Swahili
While English is widely spoken in East Africa, Swahili is also a national language and spoken in the whole of East Africa. Learn a foreign language!
