Join IBM for a unique 12-week paid internship that offers personal and professional development including mentorship from leading technology researchers. This program will give you an opportunity to work on meaningful technology solutions, develop scalable software systems, interact and collaborate with top research scientists in AI, health informatics, statistics, among others – all of which requires research, asking the right questions, curiosity, and thinking outside the box.

As a Software Engineering Intern, you will work on research questions that are of interest to IBM and have access to a vast number of tools and resources within the global IBM community to help you succeed. Depending on your background and experience, you will be working in one of the following areas: AI Science, AI Engineering, Accelerated Discovery and Industries Research. This internship will be at our Research Lab in Nairobi.

Minimum Qualifications:

· Enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Computer Science or related technical field.

· Experience with Data Structures or Algorithms.

· Experience in Software Development and coding.

· Experience in coding using one of the following programming languages, including but not limited to:

Java,

JavaScript,

NodeJS or

Python.
