Ideation Hub Africa Women in Development Summit 2018- Lagos, Nigeria.

Nigeria’s development sector is beaming brightly as female social entrepreneurs and NGO leaders meet in a first-of-its-kind women-focused networking conference to engage, share ideas and deepen perspectives on creating and catalysing Africa’s social prosperity at the forthcoming Women in Development Summit holding 9 a.m. on Thursday, 29thh March 2018 at Muson Center, Lagos.

The Summit, hosted by Ideation Hub Africa, is a rallying point for women in Nigeria who work for social good and global development across the African continent. It draws together the energetic ecosystem of women in NGOs, International Development Organisations, Foundations, Social Enterprises, Tech Start Ups, Civil Societies, CSR units of Organisations and the Government.

Debola Deji-Kurunmi, Executive Director of Ideation Hub Africa (host of the event) expressed enthusiasm saying “We believe that this Summit provides collaborative spaces, mentorship and opportunities for women in the space to further grow their capacity for sustainable social impact.”

This first edition themed “Women: Envisioning and Enabling Africa’s Future” will feature Keynote Speeches, Panel Sessions, Mentorship Roundtable and Open Conversations as well as Networking. The Summit offers a great opportunity for women in the third sector to understand the development ecosystem and gain expert advice for moving up with their careers, leading change, building a sustainable social profit business, accessing opportunities and scaling impact.

The Mentorship Roundtable also offers hand-holding by thought-leaders on specific issues including fund raising, attracting talents, partnerships, telling our stories, impact evaluation and reporting amongst others.
