Join Mandela Washington Fellows in Nigeria for a nationwide #YALIRollout.

The Washington Fellowship is the flagship program of President Obama’s Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) that aims to further empower and bolster young African leaders through academic coursework, leadership training, mentoring, networking, and follow-on support.

The Washington Fellowship is geared towards outstanding young leaders that have several years of professional experience and a proven record of accomplishment in leading and promoting positive change in their organizations, institutions, or communities. In April 2014, 45 Nigerians were among 500 young African leaders selected for a six week leadership and professional development training in the United States.

Sign up for #YALIRollout in a city close to you and get a chance to meet and interact with the 2014 Mandela Washington Fellows. Learn about their experiences in the United States, their plans for community engagement in Nigeria and how YOU can apply to become a 2015 Mandela Washington Fellow.
