#AreYouOnThePodium?

During this year we have been supporting the WSYA and we are honored to share with you the winning projects of the contest sixth edition! The final 18 winners and 12 runners-up selected among the 422 submitted websites, mobile apps & digital platforms coming from 147 UN countries: http://bit.ly/18njW2n

All of the candidates did an outstanding job addressing the United Nations Millennium Development Goals through online creations, but only 18 have made it onto the podium! From the Egyptian “Yomken.com”, which is the first social platform that offers a hybrid model between open-innovation and crowd-funding platform in the Arabic-speaking world, to Sri Lankan “YES AYV Creative Youth Media Project”, a platform that have trained more than 100 youngsters in digital media creation, the 18 awardees will be honored in front of UN, government and business representatives in Colombo (Sri Lanka) during the Winners’ Event that will take place from October 24 to 26th

Congratulations to all the winners!

And if you want to bring your social ideas onto a stage of international recognition, remember to apply next year for the World Summit Youth Award… you could lead the next generation of global changemakers!
