Microsoft Empowering Women in Tech in Nigeria and Ghana.

At Microsoft, we are committed to empowering the next generation of women leaders and change makers in Africa. Microsoft Leap, in partnership with the Africa Development Center, is hosting a week-long event for women in software engineering in Nigeria and Ghana. In this hands-on workshop, our goal is to:

  • Deepen your technical knowledge
  • Sharpen your interview skills
  • Network and interact with Microsoft female software engineers and others

Date: 3rd – 7th, May 2021
Time: 9am – 12noon +1GMT

Eligibility Requirements

  • University graduate (Any course applicable)
  • Must have 1-3 years of programming / SWE experience
  • Must have a functional laptop and excellent internet connection during the program
  • Must be available for 2-3 hours for the class every day for the week-long workshop
  • Must be a resident of Nigeria or Ghana
  • Event open to women only
