Whom: WWDC Scholarships are available to students and members of participating STEM organizations around the world.

The 2015 Worldwide Developers Conference, (WWDC) Scholarships reward talented students and developers with the opportunity to attend this year’s conference. Developers selected for a scholarship will receive a WWDC 2015 ticket free of charge.

At WWDC, Apple’s renowned developer community will come together to learn about the future of iOS and OS X, helping them continue to create the most innovative apps in the world. WWDC will feature more than 100 technical sessions, over 1,000 Apple engineers, hands-on labs to help developers integrate new technologies and fine tune their apps, as well as the Apple Design Awards which showcase the best new apps in the last year.

To be considered for a WWDC 2015 Scholarship, create an app that showcases your creativity and skills. WWDC features more than 100 technical sessions, over 1,000 Apple engineers, hands-on labs, and the Apple Design Awards.

Eligibility

  • To be eligible for a WWDC Scholarship, you must be 13 years of age or older, a full or part-time student, or a member/alumni of one of the listed STEM organizations.

How to Apply:

  • To be considered for a WWDC 2015 Scholarship, build and submit an app that showcases your creativity and technical skills.
  • Your Mac app or iOS app must be written in Objective-C and Swift, or written entirely in Swift.
  • You will need to also include proof of enrollment from your school or proof of membership from one of the listed STEM organizations.
SCHOLARSHIPS
  •  Up to three hundred and fifty (350) scholarships will be awarded at Apple’s sole discretion. Only one ticket will be awarded per applicant. Tickets are non-transferable and may not be sold, resold, bartered, auctioned or exchanged for other goods, services or benefits.

Submission:

  • You can submit your scholarship application Wednesday, April 22 at 10:00 a.m. PDT until Sunday, April 26 at 5:00 p.m. PDT.
  • All applicants will be notified of their status by Friday, May 8. If you are 13-17 years old, your parent or guardian will need to register and share their developer account with you.
  • They will be able to provide your name as the attendee during registration.
