Arch Grants is a startup competition that awards $50,000 grants to startups that are in St. Louis or that are willing to relocate to St. Louis.

20 WINNERS will each receive $50,000 in non-dilutive cash.

In addition, winners will receive pro bono services from top tier companies in the St. Louis region: accounting, marketing, legal, IT and more.

For-profit startups and entrepreneurs from any industry who are looking for grant funding — and are willing to locate in St. Louis.The grant is searching  for innovative, high growth, early stage ventures that demonstrate a commitment to St. Louis.

HOW DO I APPLY?

Step 1:

Submit a one-page application online. We suggest that you work on the answers offline and cut-and-paste them into the form. After the whole brilliant idea thing, the toughest part is being concise. Deadline: January 1, 2013.

Step 2:

When you find out that you’re a semi-finalist by January 18th (let’s stay positive, right?), You will be sent a criteria for a four-page executive summary. There will likely be phone interviews at this point for follow up questions. Deadline to submit executive summary: February 3, 2013.

Step 3:

If you are one of our lucky finalists, you will be  invited  to a weekend of events in St. Louis. You will meet with two panels of judges for 10 minutes each for Q&A. In addition, you’ll get to see the best of St. Louis.

Target dates: March 23-24, 2013.

Step 4:

The 20 winners will be announced at the end of April and they will be  invited them to begin the  program June 1, 2013.
