For the video itself, you get five minutes or less to tell InternationalStudent.com about your proposed study abroad, or if you are already an international student, to tell us about any trip you would like to take.
The 2013 InternationalStudent.com Travel Video Contest is now open! Now in its eigth year, students once again have the chance to win the $4,000 grand prize, a Viewer’s Choice Award and other runner prizes, and worldwide fame! SO get busy planning and filming those videos, the world is waiting.

How To Enter the Video Contest
To enter the 2013 International Student Travel Video Contest, take the following steps:
- Review all Rules and Regulations
Review all rules and regulations,. Make sure that you are eligible and that your video conforms to all of the requirements. Email us if you have any questions.
- Submit an Entry Form
After you have completed your video. Complete the entry form and mail, email or fax it to us at the contact information below. It must be received by us by 23 October 2013.
- Submit your video – don’t miss the deadline (23 October 2013)
Videos can be delivered in several ways:- By uploading to our server (best way)
– By uploading to YouTube, Vimeo or another online video service. You will need to email us the link.
– By mailing us a mini DV or DVD to the address below.
You will be notified if you are a finalist. All finalists will need to provide a high-resolution version of their video by mini DV in NTSC format, or a DVD in .MOV or .AVI format. Do not send files compressed for web use. PLEASE KEEP A BACKUP OF YOUR ENTRY.
All entries must be received on or before 23 October 2013.
Judging
We choose the Finalists from among all of the entries, and the judges choose the winners. Viewer voting will determine the Viewer’s Choice Award winner, and that winner is also automatically a Finalist. Don’t miss the deadline, and make sure you read all of the rules, because we cannot accept your video entry if it does not conform to our policies.
We want the best video you can make, no longer than five minutes long, that tells us about your proposed study abroad. If you are already an international student, the video can tell about any trip you would like to take. Over the years, we have had all kinds of winners – wonderful animations, creative stop motion films, talented performers, beautiful videography, and simply compelling stories. Watch all the past winners to see what it takes to win.
