The Africa Energy Generation Prize 2020 for young Africans

Application Deadline: August 15th 2020

The Africa Energy Generation Prize aims to reward young African talents who have an innovative  project  or idea  in the energy, health or agribusiness sectors.

The proposed projects must promote, in these sectors, access to essential services for as many people as possible with the potential of having a concrete impact on the socio-economic development of the continent.

Requirements

  • All motivated young African residents having an innovative project in one of the 3 thematic areas of the competition.

The Prize

  • 10 winners will have the chance to enrol in a free 2-year diploma training in our Business Schools. This entrepreneurship training will allow them to transform their innovative idea into a viable startup.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

SUBMIT YOUR PROJECT July 15 – August 15

PRE-SELECTION & SELECTION August 15 – August 25

Make your 2 videos using the “applicant’s guide”, save them on Youtube and complete the application form for the school for which you are applying to before August 15.

ANNOUNCEMENT OF RESULTS  August 30

The results of the competition will be communicated by email to the candidates. They will also be published on this page.

Applications are reviewed by an internal selection committee to ensure that they meet the selection criteria. When the criteria are met, applications are presented to the jury made up of various personality experts in the themes of the competition.

REGISTRATION OF WINNERS

August 30 – September 15

After a few formalities, we will welcome the winners on October 5 on the Accra campus to train and support them in the development of their innovative projects!
