Theme: The Role of standards in promoting sustainable development in Africa.

The African Organisation for Standardisation is students in institutions of higher learning in Africa to Submit their essays on the role of standards in promoting sustainable development in Africa to their respective national standards body.

Eligibility

  • Open to Africans living in Africa below the age of 35 years studying in a university/college recognized by that local commission for university  education or equivalent body in their countries.
  • Length of essays: Essays should be between 1000 and 1200 words.
  • Essays may be submitted in English or French

Prizes
First

  • USD500 and Internship for three months at the national standards body for the best male and best female writer

Second

  • USD 400 and Internship for three months at the national standards body for the best male and best female writer

Third

  • USD 300 and Internship for three months at the national standards body for the best male and best female writer
