The Commonwealth School Enterprise Challenge 2013.

The Commonwealth School Enterprise Challenge is a global enterprise competition in which  school students of all ages have the opportunity to write and implement a business plan for a socially minded, environmentally friendly school-based enterprise.

Schools use the income generated from their enterprise to fund school  development, provide financial support for students or support community projects. Additionally the businesses provide a fantastic learning platform for students to develop business skills that may prove essential for their future.

The Commonwealth School Enterprise Challenge is a fantastic opportunity for young people across the globe to set up and run their very own social enterprise. With its focus on financial, social and environmental sustainability, the competition is cultivating a global community of socially responsible young social entrepreneurs, empowered to change the world for the better.

The Commonwealth School Enterprise Challenge is a two stage, global competition for students to:

1. Develop a business plan for a social enterprise
2. Launch a social enterprise, get hands on business experience, and generate income to support either their school or a charitable cause of their choice
