The Young Ventures Accelerator Program in Affordable Housing

The Young Ventures Accelerator Program in Affordable Housing is a GIZ sponsored initiative under the bigger program for Promotion of Self Employment and Entrepreneurship (Kenya). Under the guidance and direction of Integration Consulting, Afroscope Consulting is the Business Development Service provider tasked with the implementation of the Business Skills Training and follow-up mentorship for “the third wave”, after successfully going through the “first wave” and “second wave”.

The YVAP-AH Cohort 3 will be sector specific to Affordable housing. The 3rd wave specifically will seek to engage players in the affordable housing ecosystem. These will include:

  • Manufacturers.
  • Architects.
  • Interior designers.
  • Waste management Companies.
  • Circular economy firms.
  • Building hubs.
  • Contractors in the housing sector.

The business owners will also undergo coaching and mentorship in critical aspects of their business such as leadership, access to finance and venture capital positioning for investors. 

Afroscope, Integration Management Consultants and GIZ have teamed up to help maximize their effectiveness and experience in the SME and Affordable Housing Sector to make a difference in the business owners journey to success.
