United Nations University Institute for the Advanced Study of Sustainability (UNAIS) 2017 Master’s and Doctoral Scholarship Programmes (Funded to Japan)

PhD: 28 April 2017

UNU-IAS is now accepting applications for September 2017 admission to our postgraduate degree programmes, the Master of Science in Sustainability, and the PhD in Sustainability Science. The application deadlines are 28 February 2017 for the Master’s degree programme, and 28 April 2017 for the doctoral degree programme. Those who expect to receive a required degree before September 2017 are also eligible to apply.

MSc in Sustainability (2017)

PhD in Sustainability Science (2017)
STARTING DATE: 2017•09•01
APPLICATIONS DUE: 2017•04•28

Requirements:

  • Both programmes are intended for recent graduates, professionals and practitioners wishing to develop an international career through employment in UN agencies, other international organizations, governments, civil society or the private sector.

Benefits:

  • Students accepted for the programmes will benefit from the unique opportunity to study in Tokyo at a global university within the framework of the United Nations.
  • Enrolled students also will have the opportunity to obtain a joint diploma offered by UNU-IAS and The University of Tokyo Graduate School of Frontier Science (UT-GSFS), if they complete additional requirements.
