YouWiN! stands for Youth Enterprise with Innovation in Nigeria. It is an innovative business plan competition aimed at job creation by encouraging and supporting aspiring entrepreneurial youth in Nigeria to develop and execute business ideas.

YouWiN! Women was the second edition of the entrepreneurial scheme, which was designed for only female entrepreneurs aged 45 years or less. YouWiN! 3 is the third edition and will feature men and women entrepreneurs in Nigeria between the ages of 18 to 40.

Who Can Apply?

To be eligible for the Business Plan Competition you must satisfy the following criteria

You must be a proven citizen of Nigeria no older than 40 years (proof of identity: International passport/Drivers License/National ID/Voters card required)
You must have a post-secondary school qualification
Your proposed business venture must be within the national borders of Nigeria, and with the intention of employing Nigerian citizens.
Your proposed venture must not entail the production or distribution of weapons, alcoholic beverages, tobacco or/and gambling, or any activities in contradiction with the Nigerian constitution
You must prepare an innovative business concept summary

You must choose to participate in one award pool. There are 6 regional pools on the basis of geo-political zone as identified by market in which you want to do business.

I missed this great opportunity last year due to lack of preparation, am so greatful to OFA for flaging this advert again, i have registered just waiting for the entry to be open. Nigerian youths pls grab this opportunity and partner with government to make our economy better and reduce unemployment as well.

I Thank God for YouWin. I was involve in Youwin1 but my idea was not selected. i encourage ladies around me to participate in youwin2. When i discovered that they did not know how to write a business plan, i have to start training them. and to God be the glory, 6 got to second stage and 4 of them won the award. for the Youwin3. I learnt that the presidential flag off will start on 25th of Nov. I encourage everybody to participate in it.

It is good that this kind of opportunity is in place. It's quite unfortunate/fortunate i got to know about it today. I will like to implore the authority in charge to create more awareness to the public (youth) in making sure that day in day out the media publicising this development on radio and television stations. From my research many youth that have enterprenual skill are not aware of this development.
