Applications are now open for the 2027 Bank of Namibia Undergraduate Bursary. As part of its commitment to capacity development and corporate social responsibility, the Bank of Namibia (BoN) is offering bursaries to Namibians who intend to pursue studies at a recognised university in Namibia or elsewhere in the SADC region.
Qualifying Fields of Study
The 2027 bursary supports studies in the following fields:
- Industrial Engineering
- Economics (Financial Econometrics)
- Financial Management / Finance
- Mathematical Sciences (Financial Mathematics / Mathematical Economics)
- Artificial Intelligence
- Management Information Systems
- Digital Forensics
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be Namibian citizens.
- Have an academic average of 65% or above.
- Be either:
- A Grade 12 school leaver who completed secondary education in 2025 or 2026; or
- A registered tertiary student in any year of study.
- Provide an academic progress report if already enrolled at a recognised tertiary institution.
- Have provisional admission for full-time studies.
Bursary / Study Details
The bursary is intended to support eligible Namibian students pursuing one of the specified priority fields at a recognised university in:
