CSIR South Africa Cambridge Scholarship 2014.

The Council for Scientfic and Industrial Research (CSIR) in partnership with the Cambridge Commonwealth, European and International Trust (CCEIT) are offering students an opportunity to pursue doctoral studies through the CSIR South Africa Cambridge Scholarship.

This Initiative aims to provide emerging researchers with international training and exposure at Cambridge University, which is regularly ranked as one of the best in the World.

What will the scholarship pay?
Successful applicants will receive funding for 3 years, sufficient to cover
 tuition fees
 College fee
 annual stipend (sufficient for a single person)
 return airfare

Eligibility

Applications for the scholarship are open to South African citizens who will be pursuing a PhD in science, engineering or technology and are offered admission at the University of Cambridge.

Application Procedure

  • Apply to the University of Cambridge via the website http://www.cambridgetrust.org/scholarships (scroll down to “online application form”), before 04 December 2013.
  • Those Accepted for admission will be considered for the scholarship.
  • Final Selection of Scholarship recipients will be made jointly by the CSIR and CCEIT
