MINDS 2018 Southern Africa Civic Education Workshop in Elections and Governance – Johannesburg, South Africa (Fully Funded)

Application Deadline: 11th of March 2018.

The Mandela Institute for Development Studies (MINDS) is pleased to announce that applications for the Southern Africa Regional Civic Education Workshop in Elections and Governance are now open.

The workshop will take place in Johannesburg, South Africa from the 11th to 12th April 2018.

The aim of the workshops is to create awareness, enhance knowledge & develop relevant skills in electoral & governance processes in order for them to effectively communicate & apply them in influencing and mobilizing other youth to actively participate in the processes.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Applications are invited from people between 18 and 45 years old who are from Angola, Botswana, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Lesotho, Seychelles, South Africa, Swaziland, Zambia or Zimbabwe.
  • MINDS will select up to 30 participants from these countries to attend the Southern Africa workshop.

Benefits

  • MINDS will meet all the direct costs (flights, accommodation and meals) of participation in the workshop.”
