Applications are now open for the 2026 NNPC–SNEPCo Postgraduate Scholarship. Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company Limited (SNEPCo), in partnership with NNPC Limited and co-venture partners, invites applications for the 2026 NNPC–SNEPCo Postgraduate Scholarship.
The scholarship supports one-year Master’s degree programmes at the University of Aberdeen and Newcastle University in the United Kingdom.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Display intellectual ability and leadership potential
- Have an adequate standard of English (at least 6.5 in IELTS) and meet the university’s language requirements
- Have been offered admission to study one of the eligible courses
- Hold (or expect to hold before the scholarship begins) a degree equivalent to a UK Upper Second-Class Honours degree
- Have completed NYSC by September 2026
- Be a Nigerian resident in Nigeria
- Not have previously studied in the UK or other developed countries
- Be aged 21–28 years by 30 September 2026
- Have a Nigerian international passport valid until December 2026
Scholarship Benefits
The scholarship covers:
- Full tuition fees
- One economy return flight ticket between Nigeria and the UK
- Contribution towards living expenses
Application Process
- Apply for admission directly to one of the participating universities and eligible courses.
- Scholarship applications become available after receiving a formal admission offer.
- Universities will conduct interviews and nominate candidates.
- Final selection will be conducted in collaboration with SNEPCo.
