Transparency International Kenya Grants 2020 for Investigative Reporting for Kenyan Journalists

Transparency International Kenya through the support of AMKENI Wakenya UNDP short term grant on “Strengthening public accountability and integrity systems for accountable governance” seeks to support Journalists to carryout investigative stories relating to the COVID-19 Pandemic. The project “Enhancing transparency and accountability during the COVID–19 response effort” dubbed TRAC COVID-19, is designed to monitor government repose in tackling the COVID-19 pandemic in observing the rule of law and adhering to principles of integrity, transparency and accountability as enshrined in the Constitution.

The grant project period must be a maximum of 3 months. Individual journalists from Nairobi, Mombasa, Kwale and Kilifi counties are encouraged to apply for this grant opportunity.

Please Note: Individual journalists from Nairobi, Mombasa, Kwale and Kilifi counties are encouraged to apply for this grant opportunity. Journalists MUST reside in the counties that they have ticked above.
