The Fellowship cohort is selected through a highly curated process designed for faculty already pioneering AI in their disciplines and research.
Step 1: Initiate Your Candidacy
There are two pathways to apply:
- Nomination Route: Receive a formal invitation through nomination by a Google leader
- Direct Application: Submit your application independently through the official platform
This dual-entry system ensures both recognition of established leaders and openness to emerging innovators.
Step 2: Demonstrate Your Expertise
Applicants must submit a Portfolio of Innovation, which may include:
- AI-related academic projects
- Research publications
- Redesigned courses incorporating AI
- Case studies or practical implementations

Step 3: Propose an Impact Challenge
