Applications are now open for the 2024 Allan Gray Makers Entrepreneurship Inter-College Competition.
The aim of the Inter-College competition is to foster a culture of entrepreneurship in TVET students. Registration is open to students who are enrolled at one of the 50 Public TVET Colleges in South Africa, for the 2024 academic year.
Benefits
- Not only do students have the opportunity of getting their share of R120 000 in prizes, but students also get mentorship and business support for a year. Most importantly, the winners get to put their colleges on the map and enjoy the bragging rights of being an Inter-College category winner.
- Students also get to interact and network with other like-minded students in the technical space and hopefully collaborate to build high impact businesses.
HOW TO Enter
The competition is open to students currently registered at one of the 50 public TVET colleges in South Africa. To qualify to participate, students need to be:
- Register an account using your name and email address.
- You will receive a confirmation email with the details you need to log in to your account.
- Complete the entry form. You can return to the form at a later stage if you need extra time to process.
- Once you have completed the form and are happy with your answers, click SUBMIT!
- You will receive a confirmation email, of your submission.
Timeline:
- Entries Open From 4 March – 12 April 2024
- Internal Rounds: 13 May – 14 June 2024
- Regional rounds: August 2024
- National Finals: 5 September 2024
