Applications are now open for the Eko Electricity Distribution Company (EKEDC) Eko Distribution Trainee Programme. Eko Electricity Distribution Plc (EKEDC) is excited to announce the launch of its EKO Distribution Trainee Programme (EDTP 2.0). This programme is designed to identify, nurture, and develop talented graduates who will contribute to EKEDC’s vision of becoming Africa’s leading customer-centric power utility company. We are looking for dynamic, innovative, and driven individuals with a passion for excellence to join our team and play a key role in shaping the future of the electricity distribution industry.

Programme Overview:
The EDTP 2.0 is a comprehensive graduate trainee programme aimed at building a pipeline of skilled professionals who will drive EKEDC’s ongoing transformation. Successful candidates will undergo intensive training, gain hands-on experience, and develop the competencies required to excel in the power sector.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • A first degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Accounting, or related fields.
  • Minimum of a Second Class Upper division from a recognized university. Candidates with a Second Class Lower division and a master’s degree in a relevant discipline are also eligible.
  • Completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) scheme before the programme’s commencement.
  • Professional qualifications will be an added advantage.
  • 0 to 3 years of work experience.
