Applications are now open for the 2026 NNPC/Renaissance JV Enterprise Development Programme, an entrepreneurship and business development initiative designed to equip young Nigerians with the skills, mentorship, and funding opportunities needed to build sustainable businesses.
Formerly known as the NNPC-SPDC JV LiveWIRE Programme, the initiative is implemented by Renaissance Africa Energy Company Limited, operator of the NNPC/Renaissance/TotalEnergies/Agip Energy and Natural Resources Joint Venture.
Programme Details
The programme targets young entrepreneurs aged 18–35 and provides:
- Business skills development through the Successful Business Owner Course
- Start-up grant support for outstanding business ideas
- Access to third-party funding opportunities
- Structured volunteer mentorship from experienced professionals
The goal is to help participants establish, grow, and sustain successful enterprises that contribute to economic development and job creation.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be between 18 and 35 years old
- Be indigenes of Rivers, Bayelsa, Delta, Imo, Abia, Akwa Ibom, Cross River, or Edo State
- Hold an HND or University Degree
- Have completed NYSC (where applicable)
- Not be engaged in paid employment
- Possess an innovative and viable business idea
- Demonstrate a genuine interest in entrepreneurship
- Have operated a business for not more than three years
- Not have previously benefited from the Renaissance Enterprise Development Programme (formerly NNPC-SPDC JV LiveWIRE) or similar community enterprise development programmes
