  • be a candidate in clear need of partial financial assistance;
  • be a candidate who submits a thoughtful and well-written scholarship award essay.

IEDC EMBA Scholarship Award Application Essay:

Include in your essay a discussion of (i) what you identify as the greatest challenge or issue that needs to be addressed in your region or country, (ii) why you choose this challenge or issue, (iii) how you, as a business leader, would address this challenge or issue if in a position of business or political leadership, (iv) a discussion of the business case for ethical standards from your perspective that provides examples from your professional or personal life where you have seen the benefits of integrity and honesty in action, (v) an indication of how you envisage contributing to the future development of your region or country after your EMBA study, and (vi) why you think you should be awarded a scholarship to join the IEDC EMBA program. In developing your essay, please draw, where possible, on your own experiences rather than on broad or general statements.

The scholarship decision is delivered to each candidate in written. The candidate must acknowledge his/her agreement with the Scholarship Committee decision within 15 days after the decision has been communicated.
