Applications are now open for the Government of Kenya Presidential Digital Talent Programme Cohort XI. Digitalent is a strategic intervention by the ICT Authority on behalf of The Ministry of Information, Communications and The Digital Economy (MICDE) to develop and sustain high end ICT talent by bridging the gap between industry requirements and the capabilities of the local workforce.
Programme Objective
- To develop and prepare young ICT graduates to take up employment opportunities in the ICT and other sectors by gaining workplace experience, mentorship, and building professional networks.

Eligibility Requirements
Degree Honors
Graduated and attained First Class or Second Class Honours – Upper Division (or equivalent) from a recognized institution in the last two years (from Jan 2024).
Awaiting Graduation
If waiting graduation (till Dec 2026), provide a recommendation/reference letter from the University signed & stamped by the university indicating First or Upper Second-Class Honors to be awarded.
Core Specializations
Recent graduates in BSc. ICT or Engineering (Electrical & Electronics, Telecommunication, Systems/Software, Security). Must demonstrate technical competencies in core areas prior to interview.
Age & Status
MUST be a Kenyan youth (21-29 yrs) & unemployed.
Previous Internship
MUST NOT have previously undertaken a Government of Kenya internship program.
Deployment & Diversity Encouraged
Ready to be deployed full-time (8:00AM – 5:00PM) in any MCDA across 47 counties.
Females, persons with disability and graduates from ASAL regions are highly encouraged to apply.
