Academic Requirements
Kenya
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science with a minimum of Second Upper Division or equivalent for the Actuarial role.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a minimum of Second Upper Division or equivalent for the Tax & Audit roles.
- Graduated in the preceding three years (2024/2025/2026). (Candidates must have graduated by the close of the application date and a letter of completion attached where the degree certificate has not been issued yet.)
- Minimum Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) overall grade of B with a B in Mathematics and English or equivalent.
- Qualification or pursuing qualification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) or The Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA) is desired, but not a requirement.
- Be a Kenyan citizen or have authority to work in Kenya.
Tanzania
- A Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a minimum of Second Upper Division or equivalent.
- Graduated in the preceding three years (2024/2025/2026). (Candidates must have graduated by the close of the application date and a letter of completion attached where the degree certificate has not been issued yet.)
- A’ Level – Division 1 or equivalent.
- O’ Level – Division 1 or equivalent with at least B in Mathematics and English.
- Qualification or pursuing qualification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Association of Chartered CertifiedAccountants (ACCA) will be an added advantage, but not a requirement.
- Be a Tanzanian citizen.
Uganda
- Be a Ugandan citizen or eligible to work in Uganda.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, Law, or related field with a minimum of Second-Class Upper Division from a recognized university;
- Pursuing or possess a recognized accounting qualification such Certified Public Accountants (CPA) or Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA), Post Graduate Diploma in Tax (PGD Tax) or Advanced Diploma in International Taxation (ADIT), Certified Tax Advisor (CTA), is an added advantage;
- A minimum of 16 points at ‘A’ Level or equivalent;
- A first grade in ‘O’ Level (with at least credit 3 in English and Mathematics) or equivalent;
- Be interested in pursuing a career in Taxation;
- Having graduated in 2024, 2025 or hope to graduate in 2026 – a letter of completion or complete testimonial should be attached to your application;
- Good knowledge of various local tax laws;
- Availability to report for work 1 September 2026;
- Tax experience in an international professional services or tax advisory firm is an added advantage;
