The National Treasury of South Africa is inviting applications for its 2027 Bursary Scheme, designed to support outstanding students pursuing qualifications in critical fields needed by the public sector. The bursary covers a wide range of study-related expenses and is aimed at high-performing undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Be a South African citizen
- Be accepted or registered for full-time undergraduate or postgraduate studies at a registered and accredited South African higher education institution
- Be entering third-year undergraduate, Honours, or Master’s studies in 2027
- Demonstrate strong academic performance (preference is given to top-performing students).

How to Apply
Apply through the National Treasury e-Recruitment portal. Applications must include:
- Completed application form
- Certified copy of your South African ID
- Grade 12 results and certificate
- Official tertiary academic record (from first year to latest available results).
