Applications are now open for the 2026/2027 FAWE Ghana/Mastercard Foundation Second Chance Pathways Program. The Forum for African Women Educationalists Ghana Chapter (FAWE Ghana), under the FAWE/Mastercard Foundation Phase II Programme, is accepting applications for the third cohort of the Bursary Programme for the 2026/2027 academic year.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants must have completed WASSCE or Certificate II, qualify for tertiary education, and demonstrate financial need.
- Aged 15-25 years at the time of application.
- Programme Regions: all sixteen regions of Ghana.
- Must have already gained admission into one of FAWE Ghana”’s eleven partner institutions: Accra Technical University, Bolgatanga Technical University, Cape Coast Technical University, Dr. Hilla Limann Technical University, Ho Technical University, Koforidua Technical University, Kumasi Technical University, Sunyani Technical University, Takoradi Technical University, Tamale Technical University, or the University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development (USTED).
- Applicants must be committed to giving back to their communities through service and development. Please note: information provided in this application, including household and living conditions, is subject to verification.

Note: Young people who are living with disability; Refugees or Internally Displaced Persons; Orphaned or from single parents; living with or affected by family living with HIV/AIDS or having extenuating financial difficulties are strongly encouraged to apply. The bursary program does not support continuing students, top-up programs, degree programmes, or students with conditional or probationary admission
