Applications are now open for the 2026 WWF-Amano Fellows Program. WWF Zimbabwe, in partnership with Amano, invites young leaders from Indigenous Peoples and Local Communities to apply for the Amano Fellows Program. The Amano Fellows Program is a 9-month mentorship initiative designed to support and nurture the next generation of conservation leaders. Fellows will participate in expert-led workshops, peer-to-peer learning and mentorship sessions focused on leadership, conservation and sustainable development.
Requirements
- The opportunity is open to Zimbabwean young leaders aged 21–30 who have demonstrated leadership experience and a proven track record of making a meaningful impact in their communities or region.
- Applicants should have a strong commitment to inclusive conservation and sustainable development, and preferably be from or work closely with Indigenous Peoples and Local Communities.
- Candidates must have reliable internet access, access to a laptop or mobile phone, be fluent in English, and be able to commit approximately 5–8 hours per month to programme activities.
- Please note that there will be no financial benefits associated with participation in the programme.
