Applications are now open for the 2026 AWF-Wall Policy Fellowship. The AWF-Wall Policy Fellowship aims to train young professionals like yourself in International Environmental Governance, particularly on the Convention on Biological Diversity. The 9 months program is offered by the African Wildlife Foundation (AWF) in partnership with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP).
Requirements
- You demonstrate a clear interest and passion for a career in policy issues on international environmental governance like biodiversity and related matters.
- Nationals of any of the African countries and currently living and working within Africa.
- Age: 20-35 years.
- Work experience in environmental sciences, social sciences, agricultural sciences, indigenous knowledge systems, resource mobilization, international relations, gender studies, bio-technology or any other sector that is relevant in the various Multilateral Environmental Agreements.
- If you are francophone, you must have basic English writing and speaking skills. Only applications submitted in English will be considered.
