Applications are now open for the 2026 PCNS Junior Professional Program. The Policy Center for the New South is recruiting several Junior Professionals (JPP) in research, economics, governance, climate, publications, & graphic design. These positions offer hands-on experience in applied research, policy engagement, and project coordination within an international environment.
The Junior Professional Program (JPP) provides an opportunity to gain expertise in fields such as research (international relations/economics) or project management (communication, partnerships, community management, finance). By working in a professional environment that encourages interaction between policymakers, academia, and civil society, the JPP is structured to enhance your skills and improve your employability. This two-year job contract is designed to significantly support your professional development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s (4 years) or Master’s degree (or equivalent) in international relations, economics, project management, or a related field.
- Interest in global issues and development in Africa.
- Strong analytical, research, and/or project management skills.
- Fluency in at least two languages (Arabic, English, French, or others).
- Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
Permanent Contract Opportunity:
