The Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme (NJFP) is a youth empowerment initiative launched by the Federal Government in partnership with UNDP to tackle graduate unemployment. It offers a 12-month paid internship to eligible Nigerian graduates, providing hands-on experience in reputable organisations nationwide. The programme fosters professional growth, economic inclusion, and national development through structured workplace exposure.
NJFP 2.0 is targeting the placement of 23,724 Fellows.
Requirements
- Nigerian citizen
- Fresh graduate (bachelor’s degree or HND Certificate) from any discipline and graduated not earlier than 2022.
- Graduated with at least a Second-Class Lower (2.2) for bachelor’s degree or Upper Credit (> 3.00) for HND Certificate holders.
- 30 years old or younger.
- Not currently engaged in any employment.
- Completed the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) OR have a certificate of exemption from the NYSC.
- Demonstrate interest/commitment in chosen career field.
- Demonstrate interest/commitment to contributing to Nigeria’s socio-economic development.
- Excellent time management and a professional attitude.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
Benefits
- On NJFP 2.0, all Fellows will henceforth receive NGN150,000 monthly stipend for the 12-month work placement. Note that the stipend is not a salary but is financial support to Fellows during the 12-month placement to support the professional development and learning journey of Fellows by cover transportation costs and lunch.
- Stipends are paid based on approved attendance records and are pro-rated based on the number of working days approved in the attendance report.
- Fellows will receive their monthly stipend at the end of every month based on approved attendance certification by their Host Organizations.

- Submission of a Video Responding to the Question “What Makes YOU THE Ideal NJFP Fellow?” – IMPORTANT: Video submissions longer than 60 seconds and larger than 10mb will be disqualified.
Application Process
- Step 1: Online Application – Applicant enters the NJFP 2.0 portal → Fills out the online application form → System runs standard Inclusion/Exclusion Criteria Check. ✅ Eligible → proceed to Video Submission ❌ Ineligible → Regret notification.
- Step 2: Video Submission – Upload a 60-second video introducing themselves. ✅ Pass → proceed to Psychometric Test ❌ Fail → regret notification.
- Step 3: Psychometric Test – Mandatory completion → Baseline data recorded ✅ Completion → Eligible for Talent Pool
- Step 4: Final Onboarding – Successful candidates enter the NJFP Talent Pool.
- Timeline: 3 weeks for application intake; Psychometric test will be scheduled following close of application window.
