The OG Graduate Programme is a 12-month experience designed to challenge you, stretch your thinking, and give you the chance to do real, impactful work from day one. You’ll work across disciplines, build skills that matter, and learn from some of the sharpest minds in the industry.
Requirements
- All South African Citizens with a tertiary qualification completed within the last five years, including those graduating at the end of 2026, are eligible to apply for the OG Graduate Programme.
Benefits
Bring your ideas to life
- Work on real briefs for local and global brands across categories, from automotive and QSR to FMCG. See your ideas move from concept to creation.
Sit with us
- There’s more to being an OG than the work. Enjoy a salary, celebrations, parties, and the people you’ll meet along the way.
Learn from the best
- Build your skills in digital marketing and communications through hands-on training from Ogilvy leaders and industry experts.
Find your mentors
- From day one, you’ll be paired with a fellow and senior mentor who will support you, share their experience, and guide you throughout your journey at Ogilvy.
Meet the clients
- Work with some of the country’s leading marketers and see how ideas move from the agency floor to the real world.
The Brief
To apply, you’ll choose from two creative briefs. Pick ONE BRIEF ONLY to complete as part of your application. Choose the one that excites you most and use it to show us how you think.
Create one idea that helps two groups who would not normally trust or understand each other find meaningful common ground, and care about each other afterwards.
Develop one bold, novel, big idea that puts the brand of your choice at the epicentre of culture by making them the driver of a cultural identity that people actively want to participate in.
