The Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) is pleased to announce the second edition of its Ramadan Social Media Photo Competition.
- The competition is open to all Muslims aged 18 and above from OIC member and observer states. The entry pictures for the competitions should depict social, economic, political and cultural aspect of the theme of the competition: The Human Face of Ramadan.
- Entries can depict Ramadan’s activities and atmosphere, Ramadan’s teachings of selflessness, rituals, prayers, food, gatherings, mosques, celebrations, special moments, charity activities, humility, patience, Eid Celebrations and cultures, inessence, the picture should depict what Ramadan and EidCelebrations mean to you and how you experience the precious moments. How does Ramadan and Eid season ‘look’ and ‘feel’ in your region?
- The entries will be published on OIC website and social media platforms throughout the month of Ramadan and Eid periods. OIC special jury will then select 10 winners after the close of the competition using specific criteria and will announce the winners on its website and social media platforms.
- The 10 winners with 10 best photographs will be sponsored for Umrah and visit to the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah at the start of Umrah season after Hajj (October or November 2017).
The competition will start from 1st Ramadan and will end 1 week after Ramadan 1438.
