Call for Papers & Presentations for the #endchildmarriagesummit2015, Zimbabwe

Submission Deadline: 16 November 2015.

Regional Network of the Children and Young People Trust are calling for urgent conference papers and presentations for the #endchildmarriagesummitharare2015 from children and young people, academics, civil society organisations and every concerned global citizen.

The papers will be presented during the conference and also inform an upcoming project on ending violence against girls and young women in Zimbabwe.

Requirements:

• The call is open for all African countries but Zimbabweans are particularly urged to apply. Attached is the picture you can use as the cover photo.

The Summit’s objectives are

• To share on the state of child marriage in Zimbabwe and discuss the role of SRHR in ending child marriage.
• To create a platform for dialogue with traditional and religious leaders and extract the major causes child marriage and the role that the leaders should play in ending child marriage.
• To develop long lasting innovative solutions towards creating child marriage free zones
