The Building Bridges foundation is currently running a project ‘The Road to Nairobi 2016′ project which will see the fostering of youth empowerment and employment in 8 African countries (South Africa, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Malawi Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania and Kenya). We aim to do this through a bus tour starting in South Africa and ending in Kenya over 100 days.

In each country, the country team and the core team will tour the country for 10 days, meeting 10 pre-selected youth entrepreneurs from across each country, on the ground and discussing some of the challenges they have faced as youth entrepreneurs in the business environment in their country as well as some enabling factors.

Once this has taken place, some of these entrepreneurs will be invited back to the capital city to pitch their businesses  at out Multi-Stakeholder event to dignitaries, private sector, NGO’s and UN entities amongst others.
