The Trust Conference Changemakers Programme, formerly known as the Scholarship Programme, is part of the Trust Conference, hosted by the Thomson Reuters Foundation from November 13-14, 2019 in London, United Kingdom.
The Trust Conference Changemakers Programme funds frontline activists and human rights defenders from around the world to attend the annual conference. In 2018, we received applications from 90 countries and selected Changemakers with expert knowledge of our conference themes.

The Trust Conference Changemakers Programme offers access to an influential gathering of NGOs, heads of corporations, lawyers, public servants and philanthropists.
The Trust Conference Changemakers Programme is open to all applicants working in the areas of modern slavery, women’s rights, economic empowerment, refugee support and other human rights areas.
Priority will be given to applicants from developing countries who demonstrate that participation in the Trust Conference will enhance their work in their own communities.
